A Cullybackey needlewoman has helped complete three unusual Middle Eastern-style wall hangings.

It was in an act of solidarity with Syrian refugees.

Seventy-seven year old granny Jane Caldwell sewed together over nine hundred individual cross-stich pattens made by hundreds of  people in twenty countries.

Jane took up the challenge after learning of Concern Worldwide's  ‘Stitch for Syria’ campaign.

Her daughter Rose, is its UK executive director.
