The Victims' Commissioner says a controversial proposal to offer an amnesty for offences during the Troubles is set to be scrapped by the government...

Some Conservative and unionist MPs have called for a "statute of limitations" to prevent former soldiers and police officers being prosecuted.

But Commissioner Judith Thompson says she's been told that now won't form part of any new legacy arrangements.

And she wants to meet the Secretary of State Karen Bradley for confirmation on her plans....
