A Broughshane community activist is welcoming the village's new twinning with Wooler in Northhumberland.

They'll both now devise economic action plans.

It's aimed at reinvigorating local communities and capitalising on their natural surroundings. 

Broughshane sits on the threshold of Slemish Mountain, whereas Wooler lies close to the Cheviot Hills.
