After months of lobbying, a Ballymena school situated on a busy road is finally to have lollipop patrols!

The development, outside Slemish College on the Larne Road, follows an an Education Authority survey.

North Antrim MLA Paul Frew says it will lead to a much safer environment.

His party colleague ,Councillor Reuben Glover, says the current traffic situation outside Slemish College is hazardous and congested:
