Police in Ballymena  conducted extra patrols near schools yesterday.

It was in direct response to parents' concerns about inconsiderate or dangerous parking.

Police say double yellow lines are outside schools for a reason - to protect  pupils' lives.

Also that lollipop men and women are there to ensure schoolchildren's safety.
