Arlene Foster meets relatives of Kingsmills Massacre victims

The mother of a man killed in the Kingsmills Massacre says she would like to see those responsible brought to justice.

Earlier this week an inquest was told a prime suspect is linked to over 40 murders.

Beatrice Worton's son Kenneth was one of 10 Protestant workmen gunned down by the IRA in South Armagh in 1976.

She and other victim's relatives met the DUP's Arlene Foster this morning.

The Democratic Unionist leader said: "I had the opportunity to come down and listen to how they feel the inquest is going. There's disappointment they haven't received the information from the Republic of Ireland that they and the Coroner has asked for."

The former First Minister is urging the Irish government to make a full disclosure of information.

"Whoever is going to lead the new government, I will seek a meeting with that person. Whether it is Leo Varadkar or Simon Coveney we have to get the truth for these families, they deserve it. I think the people who were so brutally murdered deserve it also."

It is after the Irish politician stood down as the leader of Fine Gael and Irish Prime Minister last night.
