Appeal after dog killed by bull terrier

Mid and East Antrim's Borough Council's Dog Warden is appealing for eye-witnesses to a fatal dog-on-dog attack in Ballymena to get in touch.

The vicious attack happened on the Antrim Road at 12.30 on Friday afternoon.

Police are looking for a young man and woman who may have been with the attacker dog, a Staffordshire bull terrier type.

Mayor Audrey Wales is condemning the dog owners. And she's appealing for any eyewitnesses to help the police, but says the dog was fully legal:
