Millennium Forum, Derry: 26 August
Irish folk trio Amble have announced two new headline shows for this summer, with performances at Live at the Breakwater, Wexford on 31st July and Millennium Forum, Derry on 26th August. These dates follow a strong run of sold-out performances in 2024 and as part of their ongoing 2025 tour which is also sold out. These two new dates sit alongside recent sell-outs later this year at Dublin’s Trinity Summer Series, Cork’s Live at the Marquee, Galway’s Festival Big Top, Belfast’s CHQ and Limerick’s King John’s Castle. These new shows come off the back of February’s announcement of Amble’s first Australian and New Zealand dates which saw tickets sell out within minutes.
The newly announced dates continue what has been a remarkable period for the band, who will release their debut album Reverie on 23rd May. The album will be introduced by the new single Schoolyard Days, which offers a first glimpse of the reflective songwriting and understated arrangements that have shaped Amble’s live performances to date.
Since forming in late 2022, Amble – Robbie Cunningham, Oisín McCaffrey and Ross McNerney – have steadily built a reputation for honest, thoughtful songs and a live show centred around simplicity and connection. In just over a year, they have progressed from small pub gigs to sold-out headline shows in Dublin, Cork, London, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles, with further sell out dates throughout the UK, Europe and North America continuing across 2025.
Tickets for the Wexford and Derry shows will go on sale at 10am Friday March 14th, with further details via the band’s official channels.
