Tyrone ladies defend Ulster title

Tyrone ladies were crowned Ulster Intermediate Champions on Friday evening in Clonmore when they defeated Down 0-17 to 0-3. 

In the first half the Red Hands set the bar high by scoring 9 points. 

Down worked hard against the breeze in the first half but they were unsuccessful in bringing themselves in to the game. 

They were expected to make a game of it in the second half with Tyrone working against the wind, however once again the Red Hands dominated. 

In the end, Tyrone deserved the 14 point win. 

Gemma Begley scored 0-7, Niamh O O'Neill 0-4, Maria Canavan 0-3, Aine Canavan 0-2 and Rebecca McCrory 0-1.
