Slaughtneil GAA will have to go ahead with their fixtured Ulster quarter final against Omagh St.Enda's this weekend, giving them only 6 days to recover and prepare.

Last weekend the South Derry team were crowned Ulster club Hurling champions, when they beat Antrim side Loughgiel Shamrocks.

The Ulster Council has staged two quarter-finals to go ahead on Saturday for the first time, Derrygonnelly Harps will face Armagh Harps; while Slaughtneil challenge Omagh.

The council has confirmed that the game won't be moved despite only two of Slaughtneil's starting hurling panel, are not on the football roster.

This allows Omagh 13 days to prepare for the game since becoming both Senior and Reserve Champions in Division 1.

The Senior Ulster quarter final game - Salughtneil v Omagh St.Enda's is to go ahead this Saturday at 7pm in Celtic Park.
