The Scottish and Celtic midfielder steps aside after 50 caps.

The Celtic captain has put an end to his 11- year international career.

Brown (31) made his debut for Scotland in a 1-1 draw with the United States in 2005.

The dynamic box-box midfielder managed four goals and captained the international side 21 times.

His 50th and last cap for Scotland came against Denmark in a 1-0 win in March of this year.
