The top two in the Danske Bank Premiership will make a third attempt to play their Toals County Antrim Shield semi-final tonight (7.45pm).

The fixture between Ballymena United and Linfield has twice been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the Showgrounds.

The table-topping Blues go into the game after a narrow 1-0 win over Ballyclare in the Tennent's Irish Cup on Saturday.

But manager David Healy says he's happy with his players' efforts over a hectic holiday period ...

The winners this evening meet holders Crusaders in the Shield final on Tuesday, February 5th.

Ballymena and Linfield have met twice this season in the Premiership with one victory each. 

David Jeffrey's team has just been boosted by the signing of midfielder Ryan Harpur from Dungannon Swifts.

He's looking forward to the showdown at Warden Street ...

Meanwhile, Harpur has opened up about his decision to leave the Swifts where he was club captain...

The 30-year-old driving instructor from Portadown had previously turned down a chance to join Crusaders.

However, he says Ballymena boss Jeffrey is "the main man, ultra-professional" and he had to move this time...

 Ryan lifted the BetMcLean League Cup for Dungannon last season and is now targeting more silverware...
