The Irish boxer won after his opponent Stefan Slachev was disqualified


Irish Double olympic boxing medalist Paddy Barnes has won his first fight as a professional.  He won his bout at the Titanic Exhibition Centre after his opponent Stefan Slavchev was disqualified.

Flyweight Barnes had been on top against Slachev for most of the early exchanges.  The referee then stopped the contest in the fourth round after the Bulgarian was judged to have lifted Barnes of his feet
