Northern Ireland has reached it's highest ever Fifa world ranking.

Michael O'Neill's side are in 22nd overall following wins over New Zealand and Azerbaijan in June.

Germany claimed the top spot over Brazil and Argentina after claiming the Confederations Cup on Sunday.

Northern Ireland boosted rankings last year with the European championship campaign and haven't lost in three matches.

They're ranked second in their World Cup qualifying group behind Germany.

Of the other home nations in the latest rankings England are 13th, Wales have sunk seven places to 20th and Scotland are 58th.
