"The awards are a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate the success of our local sporting talent.

"I encourage residents to get involved and submit their nominations for the awards.”

The Chairperson of Fermanagh and Omagh Sports Forum, Bernie Fox said:

“The Sports Awards gives us an opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of our sports women, men, girls and boys.

"It is fitting that the awards also recognise the important role of coaches and volunteers and we look forward to receiving award nominations from members of the public over the coming weeks.”

It's not necessary to submit a number of nominations for one candidate as the final shortlist of nominees will be compiled by Fermanagh and Omagh Sports Forum and will not be based on the number of nominations received.
