Street Soccer NI is holding trials across the country next month to pick players for the tournament being held in Oslo in August and September.

The local men have competed before, but it's a world cup debut for the women and more girl power is needed to strengthen the squad.

Here's Street Soccer co-ordinator Justin McMinn.

Aidan Byrne is the manager of East Belfast Mission's Homelessness Service.

He says everyone involved with Street Soccer is a winner.

Northern Ireland World Cup hero Gerry Armstrong was recently announced as an ambassador for Street Soccer NI.

And he presented international caps to players who have represented their country at the Homeless World Cup.

Mark Heagney and Gavin McGuinness receive homeless international caps from NI legend Gerry Armstrong.

We've also been speaking with homeless international players - they say the Street Soccer scheme has transformed their lives.
