Former Rangers midfielder Dean Shiels signs for Dundalk

Shiels joins the Irish Champions after being released by the Glasgow club

Former Rangers midfielder Dean Shiels has signed for Irish champions Dundalk F.C.  Shiels is the son of current Derry City and former Coleraine manager Kenny Shiels.

Born in Magherafelt, the attacking midfielder previously had spells at Kilmarnock, Doncaster and Hibernian before joining the Glasgow side.  He was released from Rangers in June of this year.

 

Meanwhile, Dundalk will find out who they face in the Europa league when the draw is made on Friday.
