All-Star Mattie Donnelly has been passed fit for Tyrone's All-Ireland quarter-final with Mayo.

Tyrone have been handed a major boost ahead of their All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-final with Mayo on Saturday.

All-Star Mattie Donnelly has been passed fit for the game after suffering a concussion while playing club football last weekend.

The Ulster champions were worried he would miss Saturday's game, but Mickey Harte has confirmed Donnelly will be fit enough to feature at Croke Park.

However they are still unable to appeal Donnelly's and Peter Harte's black cards that they picked up against Donegal in the Ulster final.

The winners of Saturday's quarter-final will face Tipperary in the All-Ireland semi-finals.
