Linfield manager David Healy is calling on his players to make history and get through to the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

Andy Waterworth scored twice as the Blues drew 2-2 with HB Torshavn in the Faroe Islands on Tuesday night.

The second leg of the second round tie is in Belfast next Thursday.

If Healy's men progress they would bring Linfield's European earnings this summer to almost one million pounds.

Here's Northern Ireland record goalscorer...

Keeper Rohan Ferguson pulled off some great saves on his Linfield debut, while defender Jimmy Callacher made his 200th appearance for the Danske Bank Premiership champions.

But Waterworth yet again stole the show.

He netted in the first minute, then hit a late penalty that had looked like giving the Blues a 2-1 victory - only for the home side to grab a last-gasp equaliser.

The ex-Glentoran striker's double means he's now Linfield's top scorer in Europe with six goals...

Waterworth was impressed by the Faroe Islanders, who are full-time.

He believes there are lessons to be learned for the Irish League...
