The PSNI has confirmed a convicted murderer from Belfast remains unlawfully at large.

Officers are appealing for information about his whereabouts.

60-year-old Samuel McKinley was jailed for life for murdering a man in Southampton in 1996 and is serving his sentence in Maghaberry.

Meanwhile, police are also seeking the public's help to locate 61-year-old Kieran 'Zac' Smyth.

He was jailed for a robbery in 2015 and the PSNI says he recently breached conditions of his release from prison.

Smyth is said to have connections to west Belfast.
