Two men arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Mark Hall in west Belfast in December have been released.

The 31-year-old was gunned down in front of his family at Rodney Drive the Saturday before Christmas.

The men aged 40 and 62 arrested on Tuesday were freed following questioning about the killing.

Mr Hall was shot through the window of his family’s home in late afternoon on December 18.

Detectives believe two men armed with handguns carried out the shooting, firing at least seven shots.

The victim was known to police before his killing.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact detectives on 101.”
