Ports fans earlier this month protested against the Board after a defeat to Coleraine

It comes on the day they wiped out their 12-point IFA deduction

Portadown have been caught up in another controversy with local football chiefs.

It's after yesterday's 3-1 home win against Ards.

The Ports face claims one of their goalscorers, midfielder Robert Garrett, played in the game when he should have been suspended.

If it stands, the bottom club's fourth league win of the season would wipe out the 12-point deduction imposed by the IFA for undisclosed payments.

It would leave them just five points behind second-from-bottom Carrick.
