Northern Ireland picked up an expected win in World Cup qualifying last night.

Their first match at the redeveloped Windsor Park was a 4-0 victory over San Marino.

Kyle Lafferty was dropped from the starting line-up but came off the bench to score two late goals.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino officially opened the new-look stadium in front of a crowd of eighteen thousand, two hundred and thirty four.

Both footballing and non-footballing celebrities were in attendance, including Pat Jennings, Rory McIlroy, Dennis Taylor and James Nesbitt.
