A man arrested in Co Armagh following an ATM raid in Dundalk has been released unconditionally.

Two banks - including an Ulster Bank branch - on Clanbrassil Street were targeted by thieves yesterday morning after patrol cars were set on fire at the local Garda station.

The devices were recovered near Forkhill after those fleeing the scene crossed the border.

The 57-year-old was one of three men arrested by the PSNI following a cross border pursuit.
