The number of people in Northern Ireland who've died from Coronavirus has risen to 56 in the last 24 hours.

There were 94 new cases which means a total of 998 people have tested positive for the disease.

Meanwhile, Northern Ireland's air ambulance suspended its service to allow crews to focus on the coronavirus outbreak.

The aircraft stopped operating last night with clinical staff redeployed to critical care duties elsewhere in the health service.

A testing facility for Covid-19 will begin operating in the car park of Belfast's SSE Arena with kits made by local manufacturer Randox.
