In motorsport, Dungannon’s Kris Meeke was forced to retire from Rally Corsica after suffering engine problems.
Meeke was in front by just over 16 seconds when the issue occurred at stage six.
The Tyrone man had been aiming for back-to-back World Rally Championship wins.
He won in Rally Mexico, and had taken three of Friday's four stages.
