The striker reportedly requested to miss the fixtures due to a family situation

Northern Ireland's Will Grigg is not in the squad for the next World Cup qualifiers.

It's been reported he requested not to take part because of family reasons.

The striker was the focus of a famous song during the Euros, but didn't play in any of the matches.

The only change in the squad sees Shrewsbury defender Ryan McGivern replacing Dundee's Michael Duffy.

Michael O'Neill's men host San Marino on October 8, before a trip to play World Champions Germany.

Manager Michael O'Neill, speaking to Sky Sports News, says Grigg's still getting used to changes in his family life.
