Dungannon Swifts visit the Showgrounds with the Bannsiders aiming to start the weekend in second

Coleraine currently sit third after their 1-1 draw with Linfield last weekend.  However Oran Kearney's men could leapfrog the Belfast side, at least until Saturday evening.

Coleraine are currently unbeaten at home in the league, and their position in the league reflects that.  However the Stripes know all too well just how dangerous a side their Tyrone rivals can be.

Dungannon Boss Rodney McAree on the last meeting between the sides:

Last time out Swifts inflicted a 4-0 drubbing on the Bannsiders at Stangmore Park, standing out as Coleraine's worst performance of the season.  Although, the Dungannon outfit have seen that early season form somewhat dissipate of late.

Swifts led three times last weekend against Ards, but three times were denied a victory in a 3-3 draw.  Dungannon manager Rodney McAree knows how to beat Coleraine, but he's refusing to dwell on previous encounters.

"It's just a completely new game" said Rodney "It'll be different personnel, different circumstances. It's a whole new game."  He added that his own sides form is something that needs to be addressed.

Swifts' Boss Rodney McAree on recent form:

While Swifts could scarcely be described as 'in crisis' there has been a noticeable slump in the early season form that saw Dungannon put four past Coleraine. The Bannsiders will know that defensively they will have to be on their game, scoring goals has rarely been a problem for Dungannon.

Coleraine will also like to see a return to winning ways, after a much changed side lost out to Institute on penalties in the North West Cup Final earlier in the week.

Kickoff at the Showgrounds is at 8pm on Friday night
