Celtic beat Hapoel in seven goal thriller

Celtic beat Israeli side Hapoel Be'er Sheva 5-2 in an up and down Champions League qualifier.

The Scottish side almost blew a comfortablel lead before finally registering a three goal victory.

Celtic now have one foot in the Champions League group stage ahead of next weeks second leg. 

The Hoops had registered a 3-0 lead before the Israelis pegged them back to 3-2.

However, goals from Moussa Dembele and Scott Brown put Celtic in pole position to qualify.

Boss Brendan Rodgers says there's lots of work still to do - but there were good signs last night.

Celtic travel to Israel for the second leg on the 23 August.
