Man charged with attempted murder and possession of offensive weapon after incident in West Belfast

A 46 year old man has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

It follows an incident at the Michael Ferguson roundabout in west Belfast yesterday.

The suspect is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court later today.

A 17 year old man who was also arrested by police in connection with the incident has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
