A former Sinn Fein councillor has been charged with the murder of David Bryne at the Regency Hotel in 2016.
Jonathan Dowdall, of Navan Road in Dublin, was charged with murder at the Special Criminal Court on Tuesday morning.
Mr Byrne, 34, was shot dead at a boxing weigh-in in February 2016 at an attack linked to the feud between the Hutch and Kinahan gangs.
The charge comes a week after three men appeared before the Special Criminal Court charged with offences related to the 2016 shooting.
Patrick Dowdall, 64, Paul Murphy, 60, and Jason Bonney, 50, appeared in relation to the incident in which the Kinahan gang associate was killed.
The three men were charged under section 72 of the Offences Against the State Act, which relates to enhancing the ability of criminal gangs to commit serious offences.
Patrick Dowdall is Jonathan’s father, and both have been remanded in custody.
Jonathan Dowdall was ordered to appear in court again in June.
