One of the youngest football managers in the top division of a national league anywhere in the world makes his debut as the boss this weekend - at the Q Radio Arena.

25-year-old Dundalk man Stephen McDonnell takes charge of Warrenpoint Town for Saturday's game against Dungannon Swifts.

He's impressed as a talented young coach and says he's ready for his new role as interim manager with the Danske Bank Premiership club...

Stephen says Dungannon will be a tough test as he kicks off his career in management...

The former Glasgow Celtic player and Republic of Ireland youth international had to stop playing aged 22 due to a heart condition.

He's urging authorities north and south to invest in screening programmes for young people at grassroots level...

In the other games on Saturday - league leaders Crusaders go to Cliftonville while second-placed Coleraine also have a derby match, away to Ballymena.

Linfield welcome Carrick, Glenavon face Glentoran at Mourneview Park and Ards travel to Ballinamallard.

Derry City play Shamrock Rovers in Dublin on Friday night.
