Crusaders have moved level on points with Linfield at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership after a 1-0 win away to Newry City on Friday night.

Stephen Baxter's men go above Ballymena into second spot but the Blues stay at the summit on goal difference - and have two games in hand.

The teams go head-to-head at Seaview next Saturday.

Back to Newry and David Cushley curled in the Crues' winner after just six minutes...

It was an incredible 700th game in charge for Crues boss Baxter....

Here's Newry assistant manager Raymond Byrne...

However, Newry boss Darren Mullen has moved to boost his firepower, bringing in Brazilian winger Pablo Cavalcante from Dundalk and former Bray forward Ger Pender.

They'll go into the squad for next week's Premiership match against Glentoran at the Oval.

Mullen's delighted...
