Coleraine rower Joel Cassells is strongly placed to defend his Lightweight Pairs world title in Rotterdam tomorrow.

It's after he and partner Sam Scrimgeour won their semi-final.

The GB pair finished ahead of main rivals Denmark and China in the six team race in an impressive six minutes 29.63 seconds.
