They'll take the reigns from Rory Best who was named national skipper in January

New Ulster skipper Andrew Trimble says it's important to make use of the senior players in the side.

The winger will share the captaincy with Rob Herring for the upcoming season.

Herring stepped in for Rory Best when he was on Ireland duty, after being named national captain in January.

Trimble says everyone must take responsibility for the performances.

Rob Herring says he has big boots to fill.

Herring has paid tribute to the leaders of the past.

Their season opener will be at home to Gwent Dragons in the Pro12 on September 2.
