Ports made to wait longer for IFA appeal decision

Portadown started the season on minus twelve points

Portadown will have to wait a little longer to find out the result of their appeal against a 12-point deduction.

The Irish FA considered new evidence last night and will give its final decision within the next week.

The Ports were sanctioned for undisclosed payments to an amateur player.
