The Northern Ireland Manager picked up two awards

A memorable year for Northern Ireland football continued last night as local legends past and present were honoured at the Ulster Tatler Awards 2016.

International manager Michael O’Neill was named Sportsperson of the Year during the event at Belfast City Hall.

He also collected a Special Merit award on behalf of the Northern Ireland team to mark their achievements in Euro 2016.

Former Northern Ireland striker Gerry Armstrong was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award.

Actor James Nesbitt was in town to pick up the prize for Celebrity of the Year.
