Moyola travelled to Wilgar Park to take on Dundela in the Premier Intermediate league.

Both teams were in need of a win so it was going to be a tough game for both sides.

Moyola fought hard for the 2-1 win - and the three points are well deserved.

The first half hour of the first half, there wasn’t many chances from both teams, was 50/50. Thirty minutes into the game, Moyola had a chance to go in front with a shot from McAllister - however it deflected off a Dundela defender and went over the bar to keep the score all equal.

With 10 minutes remaining to half time, the away side took the lead with a cross into the box from Moore which was headed from Mcilhatton and a tap in from Rafferty to make the score 1-0 to the visitors. Moyola went into the second with the lead advantage.

Both teams came out in the second half and had chances blocked by both keepers.

Dundela bounced back with an equaliser from a shot inside the box to make the score line 1-1. Moyola fought on for the last few minutes of the game hoping to find a winner. Into stoppage time, Mullan for Moyola Park took a shot which went straight into the bottom corner to give the visitors the lead once again.

Moyola Park wish their players Kyle Beggs and Jason Paul a speedy recovery as they were taken off injured during the game.

Moyola Park has a free week next week but will be back in action on Saturday 26th November at home to Limavady Utd in the semi-final of the North West Craig Memorial Cup with a 3pm kick off at Mill Meadow.
