Linfield have crashed out of the Champions League.

They've lost 1-0 against Legia Warsaw in their first qualifying round tie in Poland.

Blues winger Kirk Millar was sent off in the 74th minute for his second bookable offence.

The winner came nine minutes from time, a shot from Legia sub Jose Kante.

Linfield were a whisker away from forcing extra time:

David Healy's men now drop down to the Europa League second round qualifiers.

The manager says he's super-proud of the players:

Glentoran and Coleraine have home games in the competition on Thursday night.

The Bannsiders welcome La Fiorita of San Marino (7.30pm) aiming for a first round meeting with Maribor of Slovenia.

The Glens host HB Tórshavn of the Faroe Islands (7pm).

A victory at the Oval would see the Irish Cup winners travel to Motherwell next week.

There's been a boost for the club ahead of the European encounter:

Derry City's scheduled Europa League qualifier in Lithuania next week is in doubt.

It's after new quarantine measures were introduced for foreign visitors there.

The Candystripes are due to face FK Riteriai on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there's another year at the Brandywell for the boss:
