Glentoran are back on top of the Danske Bank Premiership after a 4-0 win against Glenavon.

Title rivals Linfield lost 3-1 away to Larne.

It means the east Antrim team completed back-to-back victories over Belfast's Big Two following Saturday's 2-1 win against Glentoran.

Stat expert Marshall Gillespie has confirmed it's the first time in 44 years they've beaten the Glens and the Blues in the league in the same season.

But Mick McDermott's men returned to winning ways at the Oval on Tuesday night ahead of this weekend's Irish Cup clash at Queen's.

Before that, there's expected to be more transfer activity at the east Belfast club.
