It was a night of drama in the Toals County Antrim Shield quarter-finals with both Belfast derbies going to extra-time.

Holders Crusaders beat Cliftonville 4-3 at Seaview and Linfield were 2-1 winners over Glentoran.

Blues first team coach Darren Murphy praised striker Andy Waterworth who grabbed the winner after earlier blasting over from the spot...

The Glens' star midfielder Conor Pepper sat it out as he prepares to make his comeback from injury.

But the Dubliner was impressed by the efforts of his teammates at Windsor Park...

In the other Shield ties, Championship leaders Larne beat visiting Ards 3-1 and Ballymena eased to a 3-0 success against Ballyclare at the Showgrounds.

Coleraine beat Dergview in the North West Cup while Warrenpoint had a derby victory at Newry in Mid-Ulster with Dungannon Swifts also safely through.
