Cookstown in hard fought Cup encounter with Kilkeel

In hockey, Cookstown survived a hard-fought Irish Senior Cup encounter against Kilkeel.

They now go into the second round after the 1-0 score.

The win gives the Reds a trip to Dublin on the first weekend of December.

This will be the next round of the oldest hockey tournament in the country.

The closely contested affair will be repeated this Saturday at Steelweld Park in the Ulster Premier League.
