The fast bowler injured himself training for Warwickshire in the county championship

Fast Bowler Boyd Rankin will miss Ireland's upcoming series at home to Pakistan, and the rest of the county season.

The 6"8' tall fast bowler fractured his left tibia in training, for Warwickshire's home clash against Surrey in the County Championship.

It comes just before Ireland take on Pakistan in two one-day internationals at Malahide, on Thursday and Saturday.
