The Sky Blues in search of some much needed form

Two, wins, two draws and two defeats.  Ballymena's record tells a story of early season inconsistency, with the Sky Blues struggling to string together a set of results.  David Jeffery's men will now host Cliftonville, with the last few matches with the North Belfast side being packed with goals, cards and penalties.

Ballymena manged a 2-2 draw with Dungannon Swifts last time out, however the Antrim side can take some positives from the way they battled back from two goals down to share the points.  Swifts are no slouches either, so there is much to be pleased with at the Showgrounds.  Cliftonville represent another tough challenge for United though with last years fixtures ending up all-square.  They won one game each and drew the third, with an astonishing 17 goals between them.  Not to mention the six penalties and two red cards.

If Ballymena can win on Saturday, coupled with a visit to bottom side Portadown the following weekend, there's a genuine chance that United can start to make an ascent up the table.

Kick-off at The Showgrounds is at 3pm Saturday
