Starting with snooker and Mark Allen is through to the final of the Champion of Champions tournament.

The Antrim man thrashed world number one Judd Trump 6-1 in Milton Keynes last night.

He faces Australian Neil Robertson in today's decider.

Linfield are top of the Danske Bank Premiership after a 2-1 win at Portadown yesterday.

There were also victories for Cliftonville and Crusaders.

Glenavon and Coleraine drew 4-4 and last night's game between Glentoran and Larne was scoreless. 

Derry City lost 2-0 at Shamrock Rovers in the League of Ireland.

The Candystripes need a point against Cork tomorrow to be certain of avoiding a relegation play-off.

Finally, Fermanagh host Down in the Ulster Football Championship this afternoon (1.30pm).
