Sixteen games played on Tuesday as Glens stunned by Annagh United

In the shock of the round, Glentoran suffered a 3-2 defeat to Championship strugglers Annagh United.  Goals from Annagh's Jamie Gardiner, Jamie Campbell and Stephen Park overruled the Glen's goals from Nacho Novo and Ciaran Caldwell.  Glens boss Alan Kernaghan reisnged after the game after less than a year in charge.

Elsewhere, Cliftonville began their defence of the League Cup in emphatic fashion, with an 11-1 thumping of 2011 winners Lisburn Distillery.  David McDaid and Stephen Garrett both netted hat-tricks in the one-sided affair.

Coleraine picked up a 3-0 win in a derby encounter with Limavady United while champions Crusdars were comfortable 3-1 winners over Loughgall.  Portadown took a welcome break from their premiership troubles with a 6-1 drubbing of Donegal Celtic at Shamrock Park.

Carrick Rangers dispatched Ballyclare Comrades, While Declan O'Brian picked up four goals in Glenavon's 5-0 win over Tobermore United.  Linfield striker Andy Waterworth opened his account for the season with two goals in a 5-0 win over Larne.

Ballinamallard were 3-0 winners over Dundela, Ards beat Newry City and Dungannon Swifts wone easily, 6-2 over Sport & Leisure Swifts.
