Crusaders have stunned Linfield with a 5-2 victory at Windsor Park to move above the Blues into third place in the Danske Bank Premiership.

Here's Crues boss Stephen Baxter.

Monday night's defeat was in fact the first time Linfield had leaked five at home since 1994.

Paul Heatley, Gavin Whyte and Philip Lowry were on target for the visitors and there were two own goals-from Blues defenders Mark Stafford and Jimmy Callacher.

Stafford also scored at the right end, then in a purple patch after the break Linfield pegged it back to 3-2 when Aaron Burns headed home.

Blues boss David Healy didn't hide his disappointment.

It was their third league defeat in a row and Healy publicly questioned his players' hunger to retain the title.

What a contrast for the Crues who've been enjoying their media spotlight this week.

Two of their goalscorers spoke at the post-match press conference, but there was a slight difference of opinion over the Windsor Park pitch between Heatley and man of the match Whyte.

Crusaders are now eight points behind leaders Coleraine going into Friday night's game against basement side Ballinamallard at Seaview.

But Heatley's keeping his feet firmly on the ground after the Windsor win.

On Tuesday night, attention turns to the quarter-finals of the County Antrim Shield with Glentoran away to Ballymena.

Former Sky Blues hero, Glens boss Gary Haveron is hinting at changes to his league line-up.

Midfielder James Knowles says matches between the teams are hard to call.

Also in the Shield, Carrick host Dundela.

Meanwhile, Coleraine face Institute at the Showgrounds in the final of the North West Cup.

All the matches kick-off at 7.45pm.
