Representatives from the Football Association of Ireland and the Irish FA have attended a special Co-operation Ireland dinner in Dublin.

Rival managers Martin and Michael O'Neill were among those to meet President Michael D. Higgins ahead of Thursday night's international at the Aviva Stadium. 

Republic boss Martin hopes rivalries won't spill over on the pitch.

The two sides haven't met in an official match since 2011 - but played a behind-closed-doors game in 2015.

O'Neill says players are well aware they have a responsibility to try and keep their emotions in check ...

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill says the game will give his young squad some much-needed international experience.

He hopes this match will be of benefit heading into next year's qualifiers for the European Championships.

Republic winger Robbie Brady is looking forward to meeting some old friends...
