Derry City have signed Institute star Michael McCrudden on a pre-contract agreement.

The 26-year-old striker will join the Candystripes in the summer.

McCrudden says he won't play for Institute again - but the club has insisted he's contracted until the end of the season.

There are two matches in the Danske Bank Premiership tonight.

Newry City host Glentoran and Dungannon welcome Coleraine.

The Toals County Antrim Shield final between Linfield and Crusaders in Ballymena was postponed this afternoon.

Mid and East Antrim council has apologised for the condition of the playing surface at the Showgrounds.

A spokesperson said a full investigation has been launched to find a long-term solution, adding the current situation is totally unacceptable.
