Glenavon have scored an impressive victory in their Europa League first round, first leg qualifier.

The Lurgan Blues beat Norwegian side Molde 2-1 at Mourneview Park on Wednesday night.

Rhys Marshall and Josh Daniels scored against the team managed by Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

The visitors missed a late penalty. 

Meanwhile, Crusaders suffered a heavy defeat in Champions League qualification - going down 7-0 in Bulgaria against Ludogorets.

The Europa League action resumes Thursday evening.

Derry City welcome Dinamo Minsk of Belarus, Cliftonville host Danish side Nordsjælland and Coleraine take on Spartak Subotica in Serbia.
